An Equinox Meditation
In this tea I mention the singer Gwenno. Here is her Cornish song Tir Ha Mor:
‘Tir Ha Mor’ the first single from ‘Le Kov.’ Of the video Gwenno says: “We drove to St Ives and marvelled at the crashing waves, went up the coast, past Zennor and arrived at Levant Mine to pause for thought and remember those who had given and lost so much to the land. All we could do was appreciate the rugged landscape, as so many had done before us. We drove back to Cardiff and I mulled over the merits of dancing to your own song, and concluded that it’s alright to do so sometimes. Cornish Abstract Landscape artist, Peter Lanyon, Marghek an Gwyns (Rider of the Wind, his Cornish Gorsedd bardic name) glided over the land to get a better feel of Cornwall, Tir Ha Mor (Land and Sea) is inspired by his methods and muse. I filmed what was in front of me, which is nowhere near the same level of commitment, but it is my interpretation of what I saw and felt and that, I hope, is worth something.”

Exploring Plant Consciousness
This week I meet with Plant Spirit Healer Emma Fitchett. Her website is here. I mention Maria Ede-Weaving’s new book The Essential Book of Druidry: Connect with the Spirit of Nature.
And I mention my upcoming course with the Shift Network, which I explain here. More details.
Preposterous beliefs
“Almost everyone in public life accepts the same set of preposterous beliefs. That economic growth can continue indefinitely on a finite planet; that the unhindered acquisition of enormous fortunes by a few is acceptable, even commendable; that they should be allowed to own as much natural wealth as their money permits; that there’s nothing objectionable about a few offshore billionaires owning the media and setting the political agenda; that anyone who disputes such notions has no place in civil society. We are free to speak, up to but not beyond this point: the point on which everything hangs.” George Monbiot
Inviting the Muse
Working with Youth & Nick Williams to create this was really fun and we covered a massive amount of ground – discussing how we can bring more creativity into our lives. This comes with a course I’m offering through the Shift Network. More details here.
9/11 and the Alder Tree
In this tea I refer to the Deer’s Cry (St.Patrick’s breastplate) prayer. You can find historical background on this prayer here.
And here is a version sung by Rita Connolly:
