The Fertile Void

May 9th, 2012

Last week Stephanie and I spent the day with an old friend from New York and his wife Suzanne Braun Levine, the first editor of Ms. magazine and an accomplished author and speaker. We visited Winchester, with its Round Table and cathedral, and Avebury – which despite the drizzle never fails to astonish with its village in the centre of a vast stone circle.

Suzanne talked to us about her latest book How We Love Now, and about her work on life stages. Listen to her talk for TEDxWomen which is fabulous:

  1. Ouch, wonderful, how gloriously true! I’m into my 60’s and still feel adolescent – an elder with a rather large L plate.

  2. Re The Fertile Void…. Thank you so much for posting this . I will be facilitating a Croning this week, and this gave me the language I will need to express the rebirth of the individual that occurs.
