LOL It’s always been my understanding that any announcements that need to be made in the Catholic Church should be done before communion is offered – unless you don’t want anyone to hear them. Of course in Protestant churches announcements can be made at any time and still will not be heard due to the fact that most are there to take roll (see who’s there and who’s not) and to make sure that all are dressed appropriately. This is a running tally kept in the back of the mind and therefore leaves little room for announcements at any time. :o)
