I’ve just stumbled onto your excellent and inspiring blog. Happy Solstice and keep up the good work!
By the way, I was wondering if an atheist such as myself would be able to join OBOD? I’ve checked the website and can’t seem to figure it out.
Sure – there are atheists in OBOD tho’ they would be atheists in the sense that they feel conceptions of deity/theism are just not helpful or needed by them, even though they have a general ‘spiritual’ orientation/believe there is something more to life than just randomness….something like that!
Dear Philip,
Thank you for responding to my comment. The sort of atheist you’ve described sounds very much like me, having a sense of spirituality in nature, meditating, liking ritual, that sort of thing. I’ll get the OBOD intro course in the New Year I think!
Happy solstice and a joyous Yuletide season!
A Happy Solstice, Philip! Health, Happiness, Joy, Peace and Prosperity (not necessarily in that order!)
😉
Dear Philip,
Joyously to you and your loved ones –
My warmest heartsung wishes for a Magical and Blessed Winter Solstice and Christmas!
May the Newborn Sun ignite the seeds of your dearest Yuletide dreams, and with the glowing promise of their beloved infant beginnings, this sacred halcyon season sing you lovingly and with wonder into the revelations and mysteries of the New Year.
Yours,
Gabriella
