Fracking, Fraud and Farming

July 21st, 2014

John Michael Greer and I, with contributions from anthropologist Jonathan Woolley, Warrior’s Call activist Tim, and environmentalist Hilde Liesens, talk about the speculative bubble of fracking and assorted topics, in a temple in a Glastonbury Bed and Breakfast. Plus a Lughnasadh story from Cerri Lee and music from Led Zeppelin. What more could you want?!

  1. Thank you, thank you for this timely blog Damh. We organized our first public meeting in our village of Eastry to inform our residents of a live permission for an exploratory test bore just outside our boundary in Woodnesborough. It was held last night and over 80 people came. We had a fantastic panel of “experts” but it was kept very factual and I longed to express my heart feelings but knew that it wasn’t the right moment ,confirmed by the reaction of someone when I said that I’d “tuned into” Mother Earth. He took 3 paces back from me! So it was so lovely to listen to Philip &co speaking my language…(some went over my head) and it has restored equilibrium today.
Cerri’s story was lovely and well told. Thank you both once again.

  2. What stunning interviewees – so articulate, apposite, humorous, sane and honest. This was absolutely absorbing, and held and controlled with a light and masterly touch by Philip. Just great: thank you.
