Blue/Orange

Saw Blue/Orange in Glasgow on Saturday. A fabulous play: very very funny, superbly acted in three virtuoso performances. It is called a ‘psychological thriller’ but it’s more a black comedy that deals in some depth with the problem of psychiatric diagnosis. Anyone interested in this issue, and any psychology student, should definitely see this. But even if the difficult nature of psi diagnosis doesn’t interest you, the play is so funny, the thoughts about class, racial prejudice, and the health service, so stimulating, it is still well worth seeing. Only a few performances left though! The video clip gives a good feel for it:
